Building a Gaming PC Under Rs.70000 or $700

Building a gaming pc under budget is extremely easy if you combine and collaborate right parts with each other. Choosing the right parts will allow you to squeeze maximum performance for your money without any bottlenecking.

This guide is to build a gaming pc under Rs.70000. I have research and have built many pc earlier and have a good experience. These are my suggestions for 1080p gaming at ultra and 1440p at medium to high setiings in most of the recent graphic demanding games such as Battlefield 1, Watch Dogs 2, GTA V, Sniper Elite 4 and many more.

Note: The prices may vary according to the date you are building the PC.

1.Processor

Choosing a right processor to pair with the gpu to avoid bottlenecking is important. I am going with the best budget option Intel i5 6600k. It is a quad core processor with a base clock of 3.5 ghz with a boost clock of 3.9 ghz. It is fully overclockable so you can get some extra frames. It is a very sweet choice and costs around Rs.19000 or $260. It is best compatible with the choice of our GPU.

2.Graphics Card

As we are on budget for 1080p and 1440p gaming the choice will be none other than the Nvidia GTX 1060 6gb variant. The card is beast for 1080p gaming and will handle most of the latest titles at ultra settings. The card has a clock speeds as follows:

  • Boost Clock / Base Clock / Memory Frequency
    1809 MHz / 1594 MHz / 8108 MHz (OC Mode)
    1784 MHz / 1569 MHz / 8008 MHz (Gaming Mode)
    1708 MHz / 1506 MHz / 8008 MHz (Silent Mode)

The card is also VR ready. The card performs better than AMD’s RX 480. The card has dual twin frozr fans which enables efficient cooling which ultimately leads to better and silent gaming experience.

3.Motherboard

We are going with the Gigabyte Z170 motherboard the ultimate choice for the processor. The motherboard supports dual channel DDR4 memory, PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 Connector, Intel USB 3.0 with USB Type-C, 2-Way Graphics with Premium PCIe Lane and many more features. With the SLI support available you can always gain more graphic performance by adding anpther graphic card.

4.RAM

The choice for the RAM is  Corsair Vengeance 8gb Kit with a clock speed of 1333MHz. It is recommended by many people and won’t let you down. It is a single memory stick so if you want some more memory you can add another stick as our motherboard is dual channel.

5.Power Supply

Corsair VS Series VS550 is a great high quality power supply with a 3 year warranty to supply juice to your components. There is nothing much to say on this.

6.Cabinet

Cabinet is important to choose correctly for proper space for the parts and air flow for quiet gaming. That’s why i am going with Corsair CC-9011050-WW Carbide Series SPEC-01 Steel Red LED Mid-Tower Gaming Case. It is a great case with ample space and room for additional components for future upgrades.

7.Cooler(Optional)

If you are going to overclock and want to stay on a safer side i would recommend to inevest in this cooler –Cooler Master Hyper 212X. This is one of the most recommended coolers and best for budget overclocking with copper heatpipes.

This is it folks. This are my choice of components to build a 1080p and 1440p capable gaming pc. I hope this guide helps you to build your gaming pc and get on  the chair and enjoy the epic sound of the games and those great graphics.
