AMD RX Vega: Competitor to GTX 1080 Ti?

AMD Vega GPU Architecture is the next generation graphics silicon promised by AMD this year. The GPU will finally compete with the top of the end Nvidia Cards.

AMD have confirmed the release before the first half of the year and we have seen a working Vega 10 GPU at the New Horizon Event of the Ryzen  CPUs.

The chip spans a die of over 500mm2 and features two HBM2 stacks with up to 8 GB of HBM2. The chip will be running on the latest 14nm GFX9 core architecture based on the NCU (Next Compute Engine) design. The card will feature 64 Compute Units or 4096 stream processors. It is also rumored to utilize GDDR5 memory.


More Good News!! AMD RYZEN 5 CPUs

The AMD Ryzen 7 CPUs have somewhat conquered the gaming and production line with it’s performance to price ratio. But there is another good news- The AMD Ryzen 5 budget friendly CPUs starting from $169 to $249.

The top end R5 1600X has 6 cores, 12 threads with a base clock of 3.6GHz and a turbo of 4.0GHz pricing $249. The next is a $219 1600 having the same core and thread numbers but is clocked at 3.2GHz and boosts upto 3.6GHz. The 4 core and 8 thread CPUs are the 1400 at $169 and the 1500X at $189. The 1400 is clocked at 3.2GHz and boost of 3.4GHz and the 1500x is at 3.5GHz boosting up to 3.7GHz.

The top end $249 1600X is head to head with Intel’s Kaby Lake i5-7600K and the $169 competing with i3-7350K.

The CPUs will be released to consumers on 11th of April. Surely AMD is picking up the race with Intel.

Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 Ti-The New Beast?

As we know that gtx 1080 is one of the best card for full fledged gaming experience and while we enjoy it’s amazing performance capabilities. Nvidia released the next beast the Ti version of the GTX 1080- The GTX 1080 Ti.

The GTX 1080 Ti is different than GTX 1080 though they have same “1080” in the name. But the ti version has better silicone version at it’s core. The GTX 1080 and 1070 are based on same GP 104 architecture while GTX 1080 Ti has GP 102 slightly lower than architecture which is present in Titan X version cards.

GTX 1080 Ti has stock clock frequency of 1.48GHz and 1.58 boost clock. The memory supported is GDDR5x second gen which is the fastest ever by Nvidia with 11 GB VRAM with a total bandwidth of 484GB/sec.

Because of the launch of GTX 1080 Ti the prices of GTX 1080 have come down. So it is an opportunity for you to get GTX 1080 at somewhat cheaper price. AMD’s RX Vega cards will be launching in the next quarter and the GTX 1080 Ti will have to compete with them.

Google Pixel 2 at the end of this year?

Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti

Last year we were eagerly waiting for the arrival the top pc gamer card “GTX 1080” which is a great card. But you know we gamers always get bored in short time we want something new and powerful. So this year Nvidia released the successor it’s successor, GTX 1080 Ti. The new and powerful GTX 1080 Ti is 35% faster than GTX 1080 with never seen before 11gb  GDDR5X video memory and 352 bit memory interface costing $700. The company claims that the card outperforms the GTX Titan X Pascal launched last year and costs much higher at $1200.

There is another good news!!. As a result of GTX 1080 Ti the prices of GTX 1080 will cut down to $500.

Whats new in the card ? The new card uses the first Micron’s “G5X” memory. The GPU is manufactured using FinFet process, cooling is handled by a new thermal solution.

MWC 2017: What New Comes This Year

Mobile World Congress(MWC) is one of the biggest technology event globally will be held in Barcelona this year on 27th February to March 2 of this year. The smartphones companies like Samsung, Nokia, ZTE, Oppo have taken this opportunity to unveil their latest technology as the audience is large.
